One skein

Have you ever thought what you can do with only one skein of sock yarn? I hadn't till last month when I started to knit a pair of gloves for my mother with a skein of Fotissima colori socka color. It took almost a month to finish them but It's well worth the time I have spent in them. My mother has been really happy with her present...she shows them to everybody!

Pattern is mine. I used moreless the same pattern rules than with cool gloves but adapted to the yarn gauge. There are some cables in the upper side that difficult to see in this picture. I've been thinking about posting the pattern but I'm not good in maths...I don't know why, but I've got some troubles with the number of stitches in fingers part. I should think about it for a while...

My mother (and neither do I) don't have our hands too big. I only needed less than half skein to complete these gloves. So I decided to knit with the other half skein a pair of socks for my brother. I have already done a pair of ankle socks for my other brother and I knew that for that project I only needed aproximately 50 g of yarn.

But when I finished his socks I still had some metters of that lovely yarn. So, as I've got a new mobile as a Christmas present I decided to use it to crochet a cozy.

I did it again!

Si, ho he tornat a fer. Enlloc d'acabar els projectes que tenia començats, n'he començat de nous. I el que és pitjor, de tot em sembla que n'estic deixant un altre de penjat...però és que fer bufandes té això, que no s'acaben mai...

La bona notícia és que he començat i he acabat dues cosetes. Els meus primers mitjons que, per variar, em van quedar unes quantes talles més grans del compte. De moment no hi ha foto perquè sembla que al destinatari, que aquesta vegada ha estat el meu germà, li han agradat molt i no se'ls treu!

I uns guants amb dits que, amb pena dels candidats a propietaris, per una vegada m'han sortit de la meva talla! Yes, I did it again! Instead of finishing one of my unfinished projects, I started something new. And what it's worse, I thing I have added another project to my "unfinished projects list"! but all of us know that knitting scarves isn't the most funny thing for a knitter...

The good new is that I have started and finished two other projects. On one hand I knitted my first pair of socks, but as it's usual in me, I did them some sizes too big for my feet. So I gave them to my brother who, I think, is proud of his new pair of handmade socks. I haven't got any time to take a picture of them because they are too often on his feet!

On the other hand, I have just finished a pair of colorful gloves. This time I'm so sorry for my knitted accessories fans but I did them in the correct size, that means, my size.
